Fine quality and detailed Victorian carved shell cameo brooch of a bearded man, probably the Greek god Zeus, in a lovely fancy scroll pinchbeck setting.

Measuring 5.3cm / 2.08 inches by 5.7cm / 2.24 inches. There is also a safety pin and chain.

The "C" hook clasp and tube pin assembly is working well, the pin is slightly bent.

This fabulous antique brooch is in very good condition, an unusual and rare Victorian brooch.
