Delightful French silver crescent moon brooch set with rhinestones, and featuring a marcasite bird with a red crystal eye.

The brooch tests for silver and is marked Depose, which is a European term that means 'registered maker'.

Some of the rhinestones have darkened. The trombone clasp works well.

This is an unusual vintage brooch which would look lovely pinned on any outfit. Circa 1930s.
