Antique Victorian sterling silver locket from the Aesthetic era, dating to the late 19th century.

Featuring a beautiful hand engraved leaves and stem design to the front, and an abstract design to the back.

The locket is not stamped, and tests for silver. It has scratching as expected and some denting. There is a very small hole to the front.

The hinge works well, and the locket closes tightly. Inside is a glazed antique photograph.

The wonderful sterling silver barley twist bar and link chain is possibly original to the locket.

It is not stamped and tests as silver. The spring bolt clasp is a little stiff, but works well.
