Victorian 18ct yellow gold ring set with a cushion cut citrine, ring size UK N, US 6 1/2. It is unmarked, but tests as 18ct gold.

The rose gold band tests as 9ct gold and is probably a replacement band dating to circa 1920s.

The citrine is 1.15cm / .45 inch by 9mm / .35 inch. The setting depth is 2mm / .08 inch, and the band width is 1mm / .04 inch.

There is some scratching to the gold, and wear to the citrine. The back of the setting is slightly bent, but this does not show on wearing.

This antique ring has a simple gold setting with a beautiful citrine in a lovely burnt orange colour. Weight 2.3 grams.
