Beautiful Christian Dior half hoop gold plated clip on earrings, featuring a CD logo design set with diamantés.

Measuring length 2.4cm / .9 inch by width 1.6cm / .6 inch. Circa 1980s, these are lovely vintage earrings from the couture house of Christian Dior.

In 1946 Christian Dior opened 'Maison Dior' in Paris. It was not until 1950 however that Dior began to make costume jewellery to match his clothing collections. Always well made, Dior has been one of the most successful couture companies to this day.
